Munich, Germany – With their quiet and powerful iQdrive Motor, highly effective metal grease filters and the innovative Long-life Clean air filter for recirculation mode, the new range of inclined hoods from Siemens ensures efficient extraction of vapours and odours. If desired, extraction takes place automatically, as the Intelligent hood automatic adjusts the fan speed based on the hob settings. This leaves room to concentrate fully on culinary ambitions, not least because the slanted design of the cooker hoods offers freedom of movement and an unobstructed view of the cooking.
Powerful performance
Thanks to the brushless technology and the low friction of the advanced iQdrive Motor, the inclined hoods from Siemens are extremely powerful and quiet. That’s why the range includes Europe’s most powerful and quietest inclined hood in recirculation mode.[1]At just 59 dB – a noise level equivalent to that of a normal conversation – vapours and odours are efficiently removed.
Alongside the powerful motor, an intelligent filter system is used to trap particles of various sizes: the dishwasher-safe metal grease filters, which are fitted to all inclined cooker hoods, feature up to 17 layers of mesh to trap coarse grease particles, whilst the activated carbon filters for recirculation mode remove finer particles and odours. The innovative Long-life Clean Air filter with activated carbon is an option; it can be easily refreshed up to three times in the oven restoring it to near-new state. A clever, cost-effective and environmentally friendly solution.
Smart automation
The Intelligent hood automatic feature, available on the Siemens iQ500 and iQ700 models, ensures that the cooker hood operates automatically throughout the entire cooking process without ever needing to be touched: As soon as the cooktop is switched on, Intelligent hood automatic activates the fan – and the lighting, if desired – and adjusts the extraction power to match the temperature selected on the cooktop, provided that the cooker hood and cooktop are linked via the Siemens Home Appliance app.
On the iQ700 models, the Intelligent hood automatic works in tandem with the integrated climateControl sensor, which detects steam and odours in real time and fine-tunes extraction power to suit the needs.
To ensure the air in the kitchen remains fresh, the cooker hood switches to automatic run-on mode once cooking is complete. The run-on time and lighting settings can be configured in the Siemens Home Appliance app.
Uncompromising design
With their elegant, sloping design, the new inclined hoods from Siemens offer generous headroom and allow an unobstructed view of the cooking process. This clear view is enhanced by bright lighting provided by reliable LED lights. Depending on the model chosen, the brightness and colour temperature can be adjusted to suit individual preferences via the Siemens Home Appliance app.
Apart from the high-gloss finish, the new inclined cooker hoods from Siemens are also available in a Matt Edition with a non-reflective surface. The matt finish of the hoods suits any modern kitchen and harmonises perfectly with the ovens and cooktops from the Siemens Matt Edition range.
With their exceptional performance, smart features and remarkable design, the new inclined hoods from Siemens give the freedom to focus entirely on culinary ambitions. The new range will be launched in September 2026.
