More matt, more choice: Siemens is now equipping kitchens across the board with a velvety, elegant, on-trend look

Munich, Germany – The success story continues: following last year’s successful launch, Siemens is now expanding its Matt Edition range of built-in appliances to include further models. The highlight is the first steam drawer in the Matt Edition – a new addition for sophisticated kitchens in the most compact of spaces. Style-conscious kitchen buyers are sure to be delighted by this expansion of the range; after all, it means that virtually every wish can now be fulfilled when planning a kitchen that is consistently on-trend.

Steam drawer: Now even more elegant

Siemens Home Appliances has set new standards with its steam drawer. Shortly afterwards, the brand is now presenting this smart, compact appliance for the first time in a velvety black finish. This allows it to blend seamlessly into the look of modern fitted kitchens. Thanks to its low height of just 14 centimetres, it opens up new possibilities for anyone with limited space. This is because the steam drawer can be positioned either directly beneath an oven or as a stand-alone unit. At the same time, it offers countless culinary possibilities, from steaming and proving dough to reheating entire meals.

Ovens: A new class of matt design

Hardly any other appliance defines the look of a kitchen quite as much as the oven. The Matt Edition is expanding here too. With the iQ300, Siemens is offering, for the first time, an oven with a matt door and a gloss panel in the value segment (HB272ABM3), which also boasts an attractive range of features: including the activeClean pyrolytic self-cleaning system and the airFry cooking mode, complete with the airFry tray for low-fat cooking. In the premium range, two additional iQ700 ovens (HB776G1M1, HB776GMM1) are being introduced. Alongside high-quality materials and displays, the Siemens Cooking Assistant is one of the key features of both models. Via the Siemens Home Appliances app, it advises on programme selection to achieve the best results. The HB776GMM1 also features the Roast Thermometer Plus, which monitors the temperature inside the meat at three measurement points. Without the need to keep checking or opening the door, it enables an accurate estimate of when the roast will be cooked to perfection whilst still remaining juicy.

Hobs: Velvet Black in all widths

Ten additional matt hobs and recessed extractor fans further expand the possibilities for kitchen planning. For the first time, Siemens is launching a non-reflective, 70 cm-wide hob with a blackSteel design and integrated extractor fan. This means that all standard widths from 60 to 90 cm are now available. Another highlight is the frameless iQ700 hob with varioInduction Plus. Thanks to the extension in the centre, particularly large cookware with a diameter of up to 30 centimetres can be used. The matt surface makes handling particularly hassle-free, as it is resistant to scratches and fingerprints. Another bonus is the Frying Sensor Pro. Whether it’s crispy potato pancakes at 220 °C, an omelette at 140 °C or melted butter at 70 °C – thanks to precise temperature control, it prevents food from burning and ensures perfect results every time.

Cooker hoods: A treat for the eyes and nose

Kitchen buyers also have a wide selection of matching inclined hood models to choose from. The overall design has become even cleaner, creating a more serene overall impression. Only a few glossy elements add a touch of vibrancy. For anyone who wants fresh air in the kitchen, the new Long-life Clean Air Filter offers an effective solution, complete with anti-pollen and anti-fish-odour functions. As it can be refreshed up to three times in the oven, it lasts four times longer than conventional filters.

An outstanding selection

Thanks to this extensive expansion of the matt range from Siemens Home Appliances, it is now even easier to bathe the entire kitchen in velvety elegance. Whether it’s an AI oven, a compact oven or a steam cooker, a side-opening oven, a hob or a fully automatic coffee machine: anyone looking for exceptional design will find it here. Numerous renowned design juries agree and have already honoured the Siemens Matt Edition with awards for outstanding design.
