Munich, Germany – With their elegant finish and clean lines, the new single door refrigerators and freezers from Siemens blend harmoniously into any modern kitchen. Placed side by side, they unfold their full potential, offering impressive capacity and innovative solutions that keep food fresh for longer – an intelligent contribution to improving daily kitchen routines.
The KS36N refrigerators and GS36N freezers are the first products in the new series, which is based on a completely new platform. They will be launched in April, marking the start of a rollout that will continue throughout 2026 and be completed in 2027.
Sophisticated design
The new series of single door refrigerators and freezers impresses with its modern, sophisticated design: their flat doors made of brushed steel and black brushed steel with anti-fingerprint coating offer elegant materials and clean lines. The appliances are even more impressive when placed side by side.
Inside, a sleek metal back wall, elegant glass trays and door trays with grey components and refined metal accents round off the impression, all set off beautifully by inobtrusive LED lights. In the single door freezers, the double ice twister has a new, clear design that ensures ice cubes are dispensed immediately at the twist of a knob.
Innovative cooling paired with intelligent storage
Ample space in the refrigerator and freezer optimises kitchen workflows. The new single door refrigerators comes with a usable volume of 402 litres, 15% more space than the comparable previous model, offering more room for food of all types and sizes, from fresh produce to meals for the whole family. The clever new interior of the freezers increases its usable volume to 334 litres, 35% more than the previous model, creating additional space for prepared meals or bulk purchases, so that everything is always perfectly organised and clearly arranged.
Thanks to the innovative flexible door interior, the door compartments can be easily rearranged to perfectly accommodate items ranging from tall bottles to small packages. This adaptability allows you to create a customised layout that suits your daily routine, keeping everything inside perfectly tidy and accessible.
Enhanced freshness
To keep fresh food such as meat, fish, fruit and vegetables fresh for longer, the new single door refrigerators are equipped with the Siemens hyperFresh 0°C freshness system, which creates ideal storage conditions for different food categories. The special drawer for meat and fish maintains a constant temperature of just above 0°C. As fruit and vegetables require more moisture, the humidity in this drawer can be adjusted, keeping fruit and vegetables crisp and rich in vitamins for up to 14 days.
Extended convenience
Previously only found in freezers, Total noFrost is now also available for refrigerators. This technology removes moisture from the air, preventing water droplets or frost from forming on the back wall. Food stays fresh longer and there is no need to remove ice or condensation. In the freezer, this technology prevents frost from forming on the interior walls, drawers or frozen food, which not only reduces maintenance to a minimum, but also ensures more efficient operation of the freezer and thus higher energy efficiency. The new refrigerators and freezers comply with energy efficiency class C and D.
